Inclusion Manager at Alfred Salter Primary School, provides practical support around the inclusive ethos that underpins the IFA work. Provides advice on Special Educational Needs to Local Authorities and schools.

Richard Whent
Webmaster and technical support, also works for London Underground. Came up with the idea for this inclusionforall.co.uk in March 2012.

Services Provided by Inclusion For All/Shaun Dellenty

Unique Inspirational INSET/Training Days at Alfred Salter Primary School
Currently the only primary school in the UK (possibly the world!) to run such training, Inclusion For All provides termly one day training days at Alfred Salter Primary School called 'Tackling Homophobic Bullying and Language as a Means of Raising Standards for All Children'. These unique and inspirational training events are delivered by IFA Founder Shaun Dellenty with one session per day dedicated to a visiting professional or Alfred Salter class-teacher who shares good practice.
The current cost is £80 for one individual, or £150 for two individuals from the same organisation, which is payable to Alfred Salter Primary School, this includes:
  • A sandwich lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
  • Hand outs and course notes
  • Copies of relevant statutory documents
  • A school auditing tool exclusive to Inclusion For All written by Shaun Dellenty and the leadership team at Alfred Salter Primary School
  • Year Group teaching ideas and suggestions for resources and stimuli
  • Exclusive access to an online learning community at www.shaundellenty.com for each cohort of delegates
  • Follow up advice*

* Shaun Dellenty is a full-time Deputy Headteacher with lots of demands on his time. Follow up advice may be dependent on time and current school priorities, but where possible, personal support will be offered.

INSET/Training In Your Own School or Context
Shaun Dellenty can deliver bespoke Inclusion For All training and adapt it to sessions of 45 mins, one or two hours, half days or whole days in your own school, teacher training college or university. Cost will vary between according to time allocation but handouts and school audit are included in the price. Shaun has experience of delivering lectures in universities and teacher training establishments including Liverpool John Moores, London South Bank and the Institute for Education in London. Inspirational Speaking
Anyone who has seen Shaun Dellenty speak will know that he speaks from a very child centred point of view, is informed by a wealth of personal and accrued experience and with warmth, humour and humanity. Shaun retains a very positive 'can do' approach to this work and firmly believes in the power of sharing and celebrating good practice to make things better for all children.
Shaun is regularly asked to speak to staff and pupils in schools, at local authority events, at Pride and community events and at anti-bullying events and conferences. As an ex actor and presenter Shaun is happy to speak in front of audiences of any size, from one to several thousands, as was once the case at Glasgow SECC! IFA Founder Shaun Dellenty worked with and offered advice to writer EV Crowe, director Jeremy Heddin and the cast of 'Hero' a play about a gay primary school teacher which was produced in 2012 at the Royal Court Theatre. As a fully paid up Equity member Shaun is also regularly asked to offer advice to Theatre In Education projects tackling issues around homophobia.
